Caltrain to Palo Alto

This morning we took Caltrain from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto. It was Kit's first time on Caltrain.

Photo with daddy in front of the train.

And a photo with mommy too.

We had engine #904 (Palo Alto) for our trip to Palo Alto.

Waiving to the kids at the Mountain View farmer's market. When we go to the market Kit often waives to the train. Now she gets to waive back from the train.

Enjoying the ride.

Walking downtown.

She enjoyed Border's Bookstore where she bought another Duck & Goose book. This one is about counting to ten. She loves Duck and Goose. Gossie and Gertie are also good.

Taking a rest.

She walked many blocks up and down, back up and back down again. I only had to carry her a bit at the very end.

Kit saw these chickens and thought of her grandma.

Enjoying a slice of pizza from Pizza My Heart. Kit ate nearly half a slice.

Good thing she saved room for gelato. (I was worried)

She enjoyed burgundy cherry, honey lavender and dark chocolate. Yum.

Gelato is good. She literally bounced around after that.

Walking through the tunnel under Alma Expressway and the train tracks.

Waiting for the train to arrive.

Enjoying snacks with mommy while waiting for the train. Where is it?

Oh My! Bay to Breakers was today. People were wearing interesting costumes on the train.

Kit enjoyed sitting upstairs on the way back. The view is much nicer. She didn't want to get off the train.

"More train!"

She fell asleep right away in the car.

We have a play date scheduled with Maria this afternoon. I will post the photos tomorrow.

Tuk made some noodles and a miso soup for dinner. Kit loved the noodles and ate lots of tofu from the soup.

She remembered having tofu with Aunt Linda at the Japanese restaurant.
