Counting

Today Kit counted to nine all on her own.
She counted "one, two, four, six, NINE!"

I have many photos to post later on. Today Kit enjoyed the Children's Discovery Museum then came into work for Trick-or-Treats in the late afternoon.

Saizo

Last night we went to Saizo, a Japanese restaurant, with Christa.

Trying the grilled squid legs.

And the squid on a stick.

Kit enjoyed salmon rice balls, radish, cheese and soy beans.

Open House this weekend

We will be having an open house on both Saturday and Sunday. Miss Kit has been very good about all of the chaos in preparing the house and having to take naps outside.

This evening Tuk and Kit came to pick me up at work at 6:00 but I wasn't able to wrap things up until 9:00. They enjoyed playing with play-doh in my office while they waited.

Staging

Mei Ling, our real estate agent, staged the house for this weekend. On the one hand it feels like we're living in a hotel since everything feels different. On the other hand Mei was able to utilize most of our own furnishings and just add some accent pieces so it feels comfortable since we still need to live here.

Tarantula Festival

Today I volunteered to staff the information table at the Tarantula Festival. It was quite fun. Next year I hope Tuk and Kit will join me.

Face Painting

Kit had her first face painting last weekend, with a lovely little butterfly.
We made a pretend pizza.
Kit enjoys the merry go round room. It plays lovely music and casts colorful reflections on the walls.
She didn't feel like painting today.
The mirror room is a lot of fun.
We save her favorite for last: the water room!
