She often pretends her chair is an airplane. So far, I have not noticed any frogs in the co-pilot seat.

Dim Sum and Potty Training Success

Kit has gone two days with perfect success using her potty. Sometimes at night she wakes up and asks to sit on her potty. While we still use diapers when going out and overnight, she has a perfect record at home.
Kit enjoying chrysanthemum tea. This is our regular table at the Dim Sum place.
Our waitress, Li, often takes Kit to see the fish tank and returns with a plate of custard buns.

Park and Beach

Kit and I started the day at Vasona park where we rode the first train of the day.

Kit was a bit disappointed that the carousel didn't have cats to ride like the one at the SF zoo, so she settled on a horse. After several slides and another train ride we decided to leave for lunch.

We shared a grilled ham and gruyere sandwich at Kelly's French Bakery in Santa Cruz. Their food and pastries remain very good yet I miss the atmosphere of the original downtown (Courtyard Commons) location. Also, I'm spoiled as our company founder brings in four boxes of their pastries every Thursday morning. Yum!

After Kit's nap we visited the koi pond at Porter College on the UCSC campus.

We were in time to enjoy low tide at Natural Bridges too.

2 Year Check-up

Today Kit had her two-year doctor check-up. She is doing extremely well. She is now 34.25" tall. That puts her likely adult height between 5'5" to 5'7".

We had lunch at the Falafel's Drive-In. We shared a falafel sandwich and a banana shake.
She enjoyed making a water color painting.
Kit's favorite part is playing in the water area. We spent a lot of time here today.
We read a story before bed.
