Cooking
Today Kit and I went out together. We started with carne asada tacos. Kit loves them. She also tried the chips with salsa this time. Spicy yet delicious.
Then we went to Whole Foods. Kit is a big help. She wants to try new foods. She was disapointed that no one was giving out samples today.
We went home and prepared a wonderful fresh dessert. Recipe coming...

Hidden Villa with Sophia and Dream
We visited Hidden Villa in Los Altos today.
The Canon S95 takes some nice pictures yet Tuk says the camera itself is ugly.
Swimming
Sophia and Kit go swimming together each Thursday.
Kit had to pop up to the surface three times during her swim to earn a ribbon and advance to the next level. kit didn't want to pop up 3 times as she can make it all the way to the wall swimming underwater. Had to explain that while she could do it her way, the teacher needs to see that she can do it the pop up way too.
The two girls spend the entire day together having a great time. Sophia and Auntie Pora have been joining us for dinner. By the early evening the girls are exhausted.

Weekend
Saturday Kit and I went hiking up Mission Peak with Sophia and Breno.
Sunday Tuk, Kit and I went to the farmers market in Mountain View. Then we walked downtown. Kit picked Fu Lam Mum (a dim sum restaurant) for lunch.
Afterwards we went to the Guitar Center. Tuk and Kit played the drums then we checked out the guitars. Kit thinks playing a ukulele would be nice too.

Aquarium
We went to the Monterey Aquarium on Sunday. Kit (the girl) loves visiting Kit (the otter).
We laughed over the phrase, "Let's go see sea otters." Two Cs together!
Kit loves to try new foods. She forgot she liked shrimp until she tried it again last night. She is learning that most foods are delicious and only a few are terrible. She ate an artichoke and shrimp chiopino with pasta for dinner then strawberries for dessert.

Sophia's Birthday Party
Sophia had her 4th birthday party today at Pump It Up Jr.
Everyone had such a fun time.
Kit sat with Bryan and Hannah for lunch.
Kit still loves slides the most.Afterwards Kit and I went to Guitar Center. We like trying out the drum sets.
For dinner we had Japanese. Kit asked to try lots of new things.
