Children's Discovery Museum

While Tuk and Misun enjoyed the De Anza College flea market, Kit and I headed to the San Jose Children's Discovery Museum.

We arrived half an hour before opening so we checked out the light rail station and walked through a park first. Downstairs are a lot of nice exhibits for kids to climb on and interact with. However, most of the under 4 year old stuff is upstairs, so that is where we headed. Kit enjoyed the make believe zone. Here she is driving her Ford coupe to the local farmer's market.

Then she ran a pizza shop. I made a pizza, she rang up the bill and we enjoyed it with our pretend water.

In the science experiment zone she played with hazardous chemicals and performed never before considered experiments. Oh, she says it's just sand.

In the art workshop section she played with bio-putty.

Then she painted, sometimes using a brush in each hand.

Kit's first masterpiece, in purple.

She washed up when she was finished.

We had lunch outside listening to a live music performance. Afterwards, it was off to the water zone!

Kit enjoyed it so much we upgraded to an annual membership. Yea!!!

In the evening we visited Megan. Megan showed Kit around her room.

And let Kit bounce on her trampoline.

Kit had a great time playing with Megan.
