Vasona Park and Stanford University

Today Tuk took a rest while I took Dream and Kit out to have fun.

I told the girls this was an American picnic, as Kit stood on the table. We had sushi, curry calzone, tri tip, cheese and cherries along with our fruit drinks.

After our picnic lunch we took the train at Vasona park.

Dream thought it was a rather enjoyable little train ride.

Kit wasn't in the mood to pose for the camera.

We also rode the carousel.

Of course gelato ice cream found its way into the plan. Kit and Dream picked PINK strawberry ice cream. I had dark chocolate.

Next we went to tour Stanford University. Dream stands before the gate to hell.

Dream and Adam.

And with Eve. The Rodin sculptures are always interesting.

We walked around the Stanford University campus. Kit asked if we could go up the Hoover Tower.

So we did! But Kit refused to have her photo taken.

It was a lovely day. We could see San Jose and even San Francisco. Then Kit wanted her photo with the tower.

So we went down to take her photo with the Hoover Tower, which is only slightly taller than she.

Oh, then Kit finally found some good art. Experiencing such a masterpiece made her feel very happy inside. She could not contain herself.

Kit discovered that you can even ride whatever this is. Amazing!

Refreshed by such fine art she was ready to pose for the camera.
