Tarantula Festival

Kit and I worked at the Tarantula Festival today as volunteers. We were in charge of the program handout and the information table.
She visited the CalFire truck at least three times.
We met Sam the Tarantula dog. He was a very friendly French bulldog.
Kit hiked with me to the entrance parking lot to deliver more programs to give to visitors as they arrive.
We looked all over for Tarantulas but couldn't find any. We saw a couple in a cage that were collected before the event.
The white barn is nice. There was also music and a BBQ lunch.
We hiked quite a lot. She is a great little hiker.

Kit likes her new pink Tarantula shirt too.

Hambone, a service dog in training, was on one of our hikes. He was a very good dog and gave Kit a kiss and a hand shake.
Her hiking legs were tired after all of our walking. She enjoyed a nice nap on the way home.

Then we walked to Safeway and shared an ice cream sandwich on the way back home.
