This week the kids made windsocks. Kit loves placing it outside in the morning.
The kids were taking turns hosting the two pet walkingsticks but it seems they're staying with us from now on. You can see the molted skin on the side.

She also has a pet silk worm that she has raised from a wee thing.
Kit enjoys doing absolutely everything with her mom. Often they go to the children's library for special events. Lately they have been playing together in the backyard.

She helped me get the mail, take out the trash & recycling, check the sprinklers and water the plants. She is a big helper.

We spent much of the morning enjoying the back yard.

We enjoyed making lemonade from the lemons aunt Linda and uncle Bob gave us. It was very refreshing but rather intense for Tuk.
We went shopping in the afternoon. One of the things we got was this chair that Kit kept pointing out at REI.

We caught Kit sitting on the potty eating popcorn. Silly Kit.
We bought some artichokes, corn and peas at a roadside stand near Half Moon Bay. Kit helped prepare the peas.

Kit and I shared a gelato. She wanted pink so we had my favorite, burgundy cherry, plus dark chocolate and honey lavender. Yum.
