Acting Class

Kit has started taking an acting class once a week. She is the youngest in the class yet enjoys it a lot. Very creative and imaginative.

First Bike Ride

When we got home it was nice and sunny. Kit has been waiting for just such a day to finally enjoy riding her bike outside.

She practiced riding around and braking.

Once she was ready we decided to go on a bike ride.

She had her first wipe out... but no problem.

She got right back up and continued.

We rode all the way to the park.

It was a big deal for her where we parked. She knew about the bike parking and insisted we use them.





Kit says, "It only takes one minute to get to the park on our bikes."

Mount Shasta

We had a nice long weekend at Mount Shasta. Kit, Diane and Sophia had a fantastic time together.

We celebrated my birthday too!

We made wonderful pizzas from scratch.

The house is lovely.

The views are gorgeous.

The snow was amazing. We made a nice sled run for the kids to enjoy.

Shopping

Kit and I had quite a little shopping adventure preparing for our trip.

We went to the bank ATM and then got gas. First real stop was the Krispy Kreme factory store.

Then we went to Whole Foods. Kit was very helpful. We also went to BevMo and the Guitar Center.

She asked to try 4 types of tacos for lunch: Carne asada, barbacoa, carnitas and pollo.

We dropped by work.

Kit drew several pictures on the white boards.

On the way home we stopped at Safeway, Peet's coffee and saw the DARE car at Red Robin.

New Bike

Today Kit test rode four different bikes at Talbots Cyclery in San Mateo.



Here is how she customized her bike. Pink, Hawaiian casual street style, white basket, pink bell and tassels.

The weather is cold and windy so she has been riding indoors.

She has an excellent helmet from ice skating.

Honor Student Rally

Family were invited to join the presentation of honor student pins at Dream's High School. Each came up to receive their pin.
