Planting trees on the farm

Planted four varieties of hardwood trees on the family farm in Thailand this summer. Checking to see if we have 4,000 tree stakes.

Land in Kanchanaburi

Checking on the land in Kanchanaburi, about 10 miles from the Myanmar boarder. Essentially endless jungle with wild elephants, tigers and such in that direction (over the mountain). Growing tapioca.

FIRST Lego Robotics Competition

Team Pipsqueaks. It has been a blast coaching these wonderful fifth graders. They are learning hardware, software, strategy and teamwork. The practice drills worked well. They were calm under pressure.

Mahout Training Program

Completed a three day mahout training program in northern Thailand. Fantastic experience, especially for Kit. Every girl needs an elephant. She learned patience and trust while gaining confidence.
